Happily Ever Madder: Misadventures of a Mad Fat Girl coming November 6, 2012

The time has finally arrived! This is happening! Ace Jones is on her feisty not-so-little way to a bookstore (or ereader) near you! This sequel to the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller, Diary of a Mad Fat Girl, will be released on Tuesday, November 6, 2012! And yes, that is Election Day! So while you’re out getting your vote on, be sure to pick up a copy of Happily Ever Madder: Misadventures of a Mad Fat Girl.

Last time we saw Ace Jones, she was fresh off a rampage against small-town politics, had been to jail not once, but two times for tussling with a friend’s philandering husband, and had finally decided to go for the life she really wanted. This required her to trust, not just herself, but also the love of her life, Mason McKenzie. Ace Jones quit the teaching job she’d almost been fired from, packed up her personal belongings and, along with chiweenie, Buster Loo, trucked it down to sunny Florida where she showed up the doorstep of Mason McKenzie.

Happily Ever Madder opens up on opening night of Ace’s brand new art gallery in Pelican Cove, Florida. Ace is a nervous wreck, gives a terrible speech, and, despite her solid dedication to being a nicer person, manages to offend a not-so-nice-herself pillar of the community. Lenore Kennashaw doesn’t take kindly to being insulted and squares-off against Ace in what becomes a struggle of one-ups and will power. And she’s not the only problem Ace has in Pelican Cove. Mason gets busy with work, leaving Ace to plan their wedding solo; she has the misfortune of meeting Margo and Cindy, two silly ladies who relish their positions of authority in the neighborhood homeowners association; and then there’s Kevin Jacobs, a big sexy country boy who keeps showing up at her art gallery. The good news is that Ace finds some great new friends along the way. She meets Tia, who has an aristocratic dachshund named Mr. Chubz; Jalena, a fellow warrior in the battle of the bulge; and Avery, who provides some much needed company at the art gallery.
